Powered by a Cummins 85-hp (63.4-kW) Tier 3 diesel engine, the BC1000XL has the strength needed to chip through some of your toughest jobs, while the 25-gallon (94.6-L) fuel tank helps reduce time spent refueling and increases your time spent on the jobsite. | Feature: SmartFeed | | Description: SmartFeed is a patented feed sensing control system which monitors engine rpm and automatically stops or reverses feed rollers when feeding large, hardwood material. With a simple switch, an operator can choose between three rpm droop settings to fit the specific job application. |
| Feature: Clutchless PTO | Description: The throttle integrated with the belt-drive engagement process helps ensure that the PTO can only be engaged while the engine is at low idle/ low rpm. Automatically, the engine throttles up to full rpm after the belt drive is fully engaged. |
