Heavy-duty horsepower for heavy-duty grinding - The Vemeer TG9000 tub grinder is designed for contractors that are involved with large land-clearing projects, organic/wood processing facilities, and for contractors that are looking for more power and higher tub grinding production. The TG9000 features a PT Tech wet clutch with 2:1 gear reduction. It is microprocessor controlled with built-in torque limiting.
Feature: Thrown Object Restraint System (TORS)
Benefit: The patented TORS reduces the thrown object zone distance by a factor of 2 in permitted materials and a factor of 4 in prohibited material to allow grinding in more restricted areas. In many conditions, TORS helps feed material more evenly - resulting in higher production. Consists of tub cover and rotor deflector, which combine to help reduce the distance and quantity of material discharged from the machine while loading and grinding.
