Vermeer SC70TX Stump Grinder
Smooth operation and productive cutting at the stump. The SC70TX Stump Grinder is tough enough to withstand large stumps on a commercial job site and can fit into tight spaces in a residential area. The track system is designed to decrease ground disturbance. The SC70TX Stump Grinder is equipped with safety features such as the patented capacitance-sensing operator presence system and wheel brake to help you feel confident on the job.
- Zero turning radius - A zero turning radius increases manoeuvrability on confined job sites.
- Planetary track drive - The track drive system provides manoeuvrability, flotation in soft soil and mobility in difficult job site conditions.
- Gearbox drive cutter wheel system - This system directs the maximum amount of horsepower to the cutter wheel. There is no side load on the engine; unlike a belt drive, there are no belts to adjust or align.
- SmartSweep™ control system - This feature helps improves efficiency and productivity at the stump while helping to minimise wear and tear on the machine.
- Electric-over-hydraulic controls - This control style increases the operator's ability to feather controls in tight areas around stumps, houses and gates. This gives you good controllability of the track drive during loading/unloading on the trailer.
- Yellow JacketTM cutter system - The Yellow Jacket cutter system is designed to provide fast, convenient serviceability, as well as extended pocket and tooth life.
- Plastic hood enclosure - The lockable hood enclosure protects critical components from the elements and vandalism while helping reduce noise levels.
- Optional remote control - The remote control feature provides flexibility during operation and transport applications.
- Operator presence system - With this system, the cutter wheel will automatically stop when the operator releases the hydraulic cutter wheel controls.
- Ground drive speed - With the fast ground drive speed, transporting the machine between stumps will help increase productivity.
