With a maximum rotary torque output of 14,000 ft-lb (18981.5 Nm) and rotational speeds up to 203 rpm, it offers an exceptional one-two punch in response to your most challenging projects.

To get you there and back, select between 15’ (4.6 m) or 20’ (6.1 m) lengths of 3.5” (8.9 cm) Firestick® drill rod. Consider the 15’ (4.6 m) to minimise your footprint, while selecting 20’ (6.1 m) will offer increased onboard rod carrying capacity.

• 15’ (4.6 m) or 20’ (6.1 m) Firestick® drill rod options - Two rod-length options equip the Vermeer D100x140 S3 HDD machine to better meet contractor preference. Applications valuing footprint may look to the 15’ (4.6 m) rod option, while those looking for maximum onboard rod footage should consider the 20’ (6.1 m) rod option. Industry-renowned Firestick drill rod features one-piece forged construction for exceptional strength and superior bend radius.
• 275 hp (205 kW) CAT engine - Along with meeting emissions certification, the D100x140 S3 HDD machine engine offers the power and service reputation associated with CAT in higher horsepower applications.
• Angled, open-top vices - Oriented to an angle facing the operator, the Vermeer D100x140 S3 vices offer good operator visibility during rod makeup/breakout. The true open-top design accommodates mud motors and other large tooling. Responsive and powerful clamping and breakout actions can boost cycle time efficiency.
